Getting there. Taxis from the airport to Hotel am Michel cost 20 EUR, and journey time is around 30 minutes. The number 110 Airport Express Shuttle bus runs to Ohlsdorf station. From there take Subway line U1 and change to Subway line U3 at Kellinghusenstrasse. Exit at St Pauli to the hotel, which is 850 metres away. Airport transfers can be organised for a surcharge. Getting around. Hamburg's public transport system (HVV) includes underground trains (U Bahn), rapid transit trains (S Bahn), harbour ferries, and buses. Daily tickets entitle the user to unlimited travel on all public transport, including the airport bus (number 110). The centre is easy to explore on foot.
