From Hamburg International Airport (HAM): Distance to Hotel Lumen am Hauptbahnhof is 10 kilometres, approximately 25 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis from the airport to Hamburg city centre cost approximately 20 25 EUR and 20 EUR to the hotel. The journey time is around 30 minutes. Yellow Airport Express buses run every 20 minutes from Terminals One and Four to Hamburg's central station (Hauptbahnhof), stopping 100 metres from the hotel. Single tickets cost 5 EUR and the journey takes 30 minutes. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Hamburg's public transport system (HVV) includes underground trains (U Bahn), rapid transit trains (S Bahn), harbour ferries, and buses. Daily tickets entitle the user to unlimited travel on all public transport, including the airport bus (number 110). The centre is easy to explore on foot.
