From Hamburg International Airport (HAM): Distance to the Hotel Imperial is 11 kilometres, approximately 25 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis from the airport to Hamburg city centre cost approximately 20 25 EUR, and journey time is around 30 minutes. Yellow Airport Express buses run every 20 minutes from Terminals One and Four to Hamburg's central station (Hauptbahnhof). Single tickets cost 5 EUR and the journey takes 30 minutes. The number 110 bus runs to Ohlsdorf station (for the U Bahn and S Bahn) every 10 minutes. Subway line U1 and rail lines S11 and S1 run from this station. Getting around. Hamburg's public transport system (HVV) includes underground trains (U Bahn), rapid transit trains (S Bahn), harbour ferries, and buses.
