Driving Directions
From Hamburg International Airport (HAM): Distance to Empire Riverside Hotel is 12 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis from the airport to the hotel cost approximately 20 EUR, and journey time is around 30 minutes. Yellow Airport Express buses run every 20 minutes from Terminals One and Four to Hamburg's central station (Hauptbahnhof). Single tickets cost 5 EUR and the journey takes 30 minutes. The number 110 bus runs to Ohlsdorf station (for the U Bahn and S Bahn) every 10 minutes. From here, take the S1 tram in the direction of Wedel, to Reeperbahn station. Turn right out of the station into Davidstrasse and continue 250 metres to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Hamburg's public transport system (HVV) includes underground trains (U Bahn), rapid transit trains (S Bahn), harbour ferries, and buses. Daily tickets entitle the user to unlimited travel on all public transport, including the airport bus (number 110). The centre is easy to explore on foot.
Driving directions. From the airport take Ring 2 and then Breitenfelder Strasse (Ring2/B5). Take Doormannsweg (Ring 2), then Alsenplatz (Ring 2). Take Alsenstrasse (Ring 2), then Holstenplatz (Ring 2). Leave Holstenplatz and turn left into Holstenstrasse (Ring 2). Leave Ring 2 and turn left into Reeperbahn. Turn right into Davidstrasse. Turn left into Bernhard Nocht Strasse for the hotel.
